# Emission Schedule & Halving Mechanism

The staking mining pool is released gradually through a predefined emission curve. To preserve long-term value and reduce inflationary pressure, PIJSChain implements a four-year halving mechanism, reducing reward issuance at regular intervals.

This halving model serves multiple purposes:

* incentivizes early participation without exhausting future rewards,
* ensures decreasing inflation over time,
* aligns Hardware Operator incentives with long-term network health.

By coupling fixed supply with controlled emission decay, PIJSChain balances short-term security needs with long-term sustainability.
