# Phase I — Infrastructure & Economic Validation (Testnet Phase)

Primary Objective:\
Validate Proof-of-Stake mechanics, incentive alignment, and Hardware Operator reliability under real economic conditions.

During this phase, the focus is on establishing a credible foundation for the network. Key activities include:

* deployment of the EVM-compatible testnet environment,
* activation of real-token testnet participation through temporary PIJS locking,
* onboarding of Hardware Operators under enforced commitment rules,
* observation of uptime, staking behavior, and reward distribution dynamics.

This phase emphasizes data collection and behavioral validation, not user scale. Performance metrics, economic participation patterns, and system stability are continuously monitored. Parameters may be adjusted to address issues identified during live testing.

Progression from Phase I is contingent on meeting predefined stability and reliability benchmarks rather than fixed timelines.
