# Progressive Decentralization

As PIJSChain matures and infrastructure participation stabilizes, governance authority is intended to transition progressively toward the community. Hardware Operators and long-term token holders will play an increasingly significant role in shaping protocol evolution.

Future governance mechanisms under consideration include:

* proposal systems for parameter adjustments,
* voting processes weighted by participation and commitment,
* structured feedback cycles informed by network performance metrics.

Specific governance mechanics, including voting models and thresholds, will be defined and published once sufficient operational data has been collected.
